Easy to get started

I just tried out their Free CRM and it was pretty easy to get going. Signed up, messed around with it a bit, and everything made sense. Didn't even need to watch a tutorial. Felt good.

Good for marketing, some setup hassle

I signed up for Marketing Hub Professional last month and found the features really powerful for our small business. The marketing automation software is top-notch, and the email marketing tool has saved us a lot of time. However, getting everything configured initially was a bit of a learning curve. The support documentation was extensive but sometimes overwhelming. It took about a week to really feel comfortable with the setup process, which was longer than I expected. Overall, good value for money once it's running smoothly.

Reliable CRM, consistent experience

This isn't my first time using HubSpot; I've been a customer for a few years now, primarily for their Free CRM and Sales Hub Starter. This latest purchase was an upgrade to Sales Hub Professional, and the transition was seamless, just like my past experiences. Everything worked as expected, and the data sync was flawless. It's why I keep coming back – the reliability is key for me. Never had any major issues with their platform.

Detailed review of Operations Hub

I recently implemented HubSpot's Operations Hub for our company, specifically for the programmable automation and data sync features. The onboarding process was mostly self-guided, with a good collection of video tutorials and step-by-step guides available in their knowledge base. The data sync capabilities with our other platforms (which were listed as compatible) worked quite well after some initial mapping. I particularly liked the custom objects feature, which gave us a lot of flexibility to tailor the CRM to our specific business needs. Support was responsive when I had a question about a complex workflow, responding within a few hours via their chat system. My only minor critique is that the initial learning curve for the programmable automation can be steep if you're not already familiar with scripting concepts. However, once mastered, it's incredibly powerful. The reporting dashboards also provided clear insights into our operational efficiency. Delivery of the software itself was instant, naturally, as it's a cloud-based service.

Is the free CRM actually free forever or will they pull a bait-and-switch after a few months?

D Daniel Perez 1 month ago
It's genuinely free, no time limit. i've been using it for basic stuff for over a year now. it's not the full paid version obviously, but pretty functional for free.

Free forever for the basic CRM features, yeah. they want you to eventually upgrade to the paid hubs as you grow, but the core CRM stays free.

How does HubSpot compare to Salesforce for a small business? I've used Salesforce before but found it kinda clunky.

I Ian 2 days ago
HubSpot is definitely more user-friendly for small businesses, especially if you're not a super techy person. Salesforce can be overkill for a lot of smaller operations.

Yeah, I switched from Salesforce to HubSpot. HubSpot is way easier to set up and use daily. Salesforce has more customization potential, but you pay for it in complexity.

Does HubSpot offer monthly billing for their paid plans or do I have to pay for a whole year upfront?

M Matt H. 4 weeks ago
You can do monthly, but it's usually more expensive per month. They give you a discount if you pay annually, like 10% off or something.

They offer both. I pay monthly for now but plan to switch to annual for the savings once I'm sure it's the right fit.

i'm looking at the sales hub. can you actually try out the paid features before committing to a plan?

E Elizabeth Anderson 1 week ago
Pretty sure they have trials for the paid hubs. I think I did one for the Marketing Hub when I was checking it out. Just ask their sales team.

They usually offer trials for the paid add-ons. It's a good way to see if it's worth the money before you subscribe to the whole thing.

Anyone know if you can stack different discounts, like the startup one and maybe an annual billing discount?

R Robert 3 weeks ago
Nah, pretty sure you can't stack them. The startup discount is already massive, so that's usually the only one you get for that period.

E Eric Rivera 3 weeks ago
I tried to combine two once and it didn't work. The system usually picks the best one for you, which in your case would be the startup deal.
